ProQuest eBrary upcoming webinars


A note from ProQuest on their upcoming eBrary webinars.  eBrary is doing a lot to provide titles for public libraries recently, so it may be of interest.  RSVP info is at the bottom.

Greetings,

ProQuest invites you to participate in an eBooks presentation showcasing our eBooks product, Ebrary.   We would love to highlight some of the main features of the platform and the content for you.  The presentations would be offered at numerous times and readily viewable through an internet webinar.  The webinar will highlight several key functional points including:
1.            The different ways to acquire books:
a.            By Subscription bundles
b.            By individual title purchase
c.             By Patron Driven Acquisition Purchase
d.            Short Term loans.
2.            The Ebrary platform itself, which includes a set of tools that schools call amazing, including the ability to search your other electronic resources through Ebrary!
3.            A licensing model that can allow for unlimited users and unlimited downloads at a truly affordable price.
4.            The additional functionality of a digital archiving mechanism, built-in to the product that allows you to bring your own content into the searchable platform.

To sign up for the Ebrary webinar presentation please follow the directions below:

1.            Pick a date/time that works best for you:
Tuesday, March 26th.    
•    10am PST
•    1pm PST
                               Tuesday, April 2nd
•    10am PST
                               Thursday, April 4th
•    1pm PST
2.            Send an email to brad.roth@proquest.com  requesting the Ebrary presentation for the date and time you prefer.  The webinars typically last no longer than 45 minutes.  We take 30 minutes to show the presentation and would be available for Q&A following.
3.            An Outlook calendar invite will be sent to you with a link to the webinar and very simple instructions on how to access the presentation.
