Books & Authors Webinar

Late March marks the release of Books & Authors, Gale’s new online readers’ advisory database that "leverages the Internet’s unique capacity to create, build, communicate with and sustain communities of readers.”

Books & Authors contains both fiction and nonfiction content along with book reviews from 30 different sources. Users also can create reading and search lists in their user accounts, which remain intact in a “My Reading Room” feature. A customizable interface helps libraries to promote events, special collections, or new additions.

A Webinar on Books & Authors is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3. To sign up for either of these two sessions, please send your name, library, and email address to califa@califa.org.

Discount pricing and a description can be found on the Califa Web site.
