New Poll for Members

Over to the right, there is a new poll for our members asking whether we should work with any of the listed business database vendors. Please take a moment to let us know your opinion on these companies, and whether we should negotiate a Califa discount with any of them.

Thanks so much for your time and effort!

Fresno County Library subscribes to Morningstar Investment Research Center, which covers Mutual Funds and common stocks. Since we subscribe to printed Value Lines, we could consider replacing them with the online version(s) with remote access. However, enough investment information may available from the Morningstar subscription and the free Value Line and other web sites. Louise Richardson, Business Services Librarian

Value Line Stock Reports are outstanding products. The electronic version, Value Line Resource Center, contains outstanding research reports and other financial information and is mostly user friendly. Our library has both printed and the electronic version. It is easy to demonstrate how to use Value Line Research Center to the public. We have many happy Value Line users. When we have taught classes on its use, the Value Line support has been excellent. They give us a larger number of users for the day to accommodate a classroom of 16 users and others in the library.
